UPDF"s Mwanje Abasi shoots against Kyambogo University

Ndejje Maintains Its Unbeaten Run against Mak Bulls

The third week of the National Handball League threw off at Police Children’s School Kibuli with five matches played.

Ndejje Hoppers 39 [16] VS 18 [8] Mak Bulls

Ongom Francis aka Almeda Joz Fray scored 12 goals and helped his Ndejje team extend their  5+ year unbeaten run against the Makerere University side. The Mak bull struggled through the match posting their worst performance of the season and back to back loses,this has increased Ndejje's dominancy against Mak bulls to over 5years without loosing to the side.

UPDF Women 24 [8] VS 36 [16] NKUMBA TORNADOES

Nkumba University's Akongo Stella was inspirational as her team ripped through the army side to maintain their unbeaten run at the top of the league. UPDF seemed more comfortable at the start of the game but ran short of gas.

Ndejje University Lady Hoppers 36 [17] VS 12 [4] Mak Ladies

Ndejje University extended its focus and hopes on the league trophy with a convincing win over fellow university side, the Mak Ladies. Nantume Barbra took the player of the match award.

UPDF Men 31 [15] VS 23 [7] Kyambogo handball club

Kyambogo University fought hard in its search for a 3rd win of the season but were no match for the UPDF soldiers who got their 6th win of the season with Chester Alworonga being  the Player of the Match.

NKAJJA HANDBALL CLUB 21 [9] VS 22 [10] Kyengeza Handball Club

Nanyanga Bridget, a student at MBOGO HIGH School  was player of the match after inspiring her Kyengeza side to a narrow win against Nkajja, giving them a 2nd win of the season.
